Description: For sale is a really nice large serving dish made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century . It has a handle to each side and is shaped like an oval bowl. The piece has a nice shape to it with a superb hand painted scene in the center in mostly green tones surrounded by a floral and leaf design with gilding to either side. The side of the dish has a green and gold leaf garland going around and the reticulated handles have some nice gilding to them as well. Really a stunningly beautiful piece based on an 18th century original. The piece is 2.75 inches tall, 12.25 inches wide and 9 inches deep. Marked with the green shield mark with Nymphenburg underneath, impressed numbers 3 and letter h plus the impressed shield mark as well.
