Description: Tchaikovsky: Symphony No.4 in F minor, Op.36 Played by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by George Szell Side One1. Largo - Andante Sostenuto - Moderato con anima2. Andantino in modo di canzona Side Two3. Scherzo - Allegro4. Finale - Allegro con fuoco This Stereo recording was released by Decca in 1971, Serial No. SPA 206, bearing the pale blue digital recording label, part of the World of the Great Classics series. Sleeve notes are in English. There is a very similar 1972 issue. The record has been recently played to ensure that it remains in very good condition. The cover has suffered from some exposure to damp caused by poor storage on an international move, resulting in some staining and corrugation but, as can be seen in the photo of the back, it is still in generally good condition. A Sellotape strip applied at the time of purchase has prevented any fraying of the leading edges.
