Description: A very rare first edition (first state printing) of Dr. Seuss’ early book, The King’s Stilts with the original red and yellow cover design. In good condition with some light to moderate shelf wear, mainly to the boards (some discoloration to the top edge). A couple light smudge marks inside. No writing or other markings. Binding is a little fragile, beginning to show light wear to the inner front hinge, as pictured (faint invisible crack). Perhaps some gentle bowing to the boards. See pictures for a closer look!
