Description: The Science of Life by H G Wells, 4 Volumes, 1931 Illustrated (LWS5). BOOK DETAILS*: Condition: The set appears to be in good condition. Boards/Spine/Binding: the front board of volume 4 has a slightly bowed corner. There appears to be paint or some other substance smear at the bottom right corner of the front boards (seen in pictures). Bottom and top of spine has wear and fraying. Volume 3 has a very small marking on the spine. Text block/Foxing: Text block appears to be sound (no tears, damage, or writing noted). Additional info/comments: Oddly it would appear that a section of pages in volume 2 were not properly cut. This is shown in pictures.
