Description: Two Vintage Watercolors of Two Dutch Little Zeeland Girls by Matthijs HageThe first little girl is "DAMBURG ZEELAND". She seems to be the older sister. Shes is wearing a head scarf with light brown ringlets hanging out the front. She is wearing a navy blue top with a fancy insert. The shading is very nicely done.The second little girl is "Wolcheren Zeeland". She has a bun type head scarf on with a little hair sticking out plus ringlets. With a navy blue shirt and white apron dress. Again, the shading is absolutely perfect.The Zeeland has been told to me is an area of the country not a family name.I can't find a year visible and do not want to take them out of the frame they are mounted in, but I would say earlier than 50's.Please look at pictures and ask questions of any.
