Description: DAVID BOWIE - JAPANESE LIMITED EDITION 17-CD PROMO BOX SET Measuring approximately 6" x 6" x 5" in size, this sturdy, full-colour glossy printed cardboard slipcase houses 3 further slipcases each representing an era in Bowie album chronology. This was only available specifically to those who pre-ordered the whole back catalogue from Disc Union Tokyo for an extremely limited period. The first slipcase holds 6 papersleeve Japanese CDs from David Bowie (Space Oddity) through to Pin Ups. The second slipcase holds a further 6 papersleeve Japanese CDs from Diamond Dogs through to Lodger. The third and final slipcase holds the last 5 papersleeve Japanese CDs from Scary Monsters through to Tin Machine. All 17 discs were visually inspected and found to be in excellent condition. Each album is in a resealable plastic sleeve and has the original OBI, a plastic inner sleeve for the CD, a fold-out sheet with lyrics in Japanese and English, and a flyer for the David Bowie catalog. Most have a replica inner sleeve if one was made of the original album, as well as other replicated items such a fan-club mail-in forms. The outer slipcase is in great shape with sharp corners, but some light scratches from moving around from place to place. Photos are of actual item. Please see our other listings.
