Description: I've been collecting vintage lingerie since 1999. I hate to let this beauty go, but it's just too small for me. Icy or silvery blue full length vintage nightgown is by Barbizon. She has little sheer capped sleeves, sheer fabric around the round neckline and round back-line that is embroidered with flowers and leaves, scalloped embroidery where the sheer fabric connects with the solid fabric above the bust, a stitched waist area, and a tie in back at the center of the round back-line. It's just BEAUTIFUL! Shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 15" (although there are no shoulder seams), bust is 33.5" to 34", waist is 28", and length is 58". You must have narrow shoulders to wear this gown. Mine are 17" wide, so there was no way I could wiggle into it. Gown is marked a size "Miss 12" which is a current XS or small. Fabric content is 100% rayon. There is one small hole near the left arm pit where the stupid price tag was "shot" through it, but that's it. There are no stains or seam issues. Overall, super glam 1930's or 1940's vintage Barbizon full length evening gown style rayon nightgown is in excellent vintage shape. PS: Direct sunlight was hitting the bottom of the gown as I was taking the pictures. That's why the color looks different in the full length shots of the front.
