It was moved to Fort Worth in 1938, but the transmitter was actually just outside of what was then the small town of Arlington. KGKO/570 broadcast from these two towers until 1951, when the transmitter was moved to Grapevine. By that time, 570 was shared between WFAA and WBAP (one station would be on 570 while the other was on 820.)
