Vintage 1940s Dress Colorblock Green Off-white S M 40s Homefront WWII era

Description: Vintage 1940s colorblock dress - lime green with a textured windowpane pattern and solid off-white on the front, all textured windowpane on the back. Darling white plastic buttons down the front. A-line with a pleated skirt. Seems handmade - from an estate. Linen blend with no stretch. Small shoulder pads. Shown on modern dress form with bust of 36"/ w 26" / H 36". Suggest a modern S to M- please review measurements below and judge accordingly considering there is no give with this blend. B 36" (note how it does not button well on this form) W 28” H 42" Length 40" (16" to waist) Overall great vintage condition with no major issues to note - however theres is a small hole on the back near the shoulder (see pic) and there are seam separations in more than one spot so some attention to that would probably be good.
