This V1 model has an all aluminum casing that has been restored with flawless new Medium Gray enamel, cleaned an sanitized upper grills, new dust protectors and blast filter. The maker's badge is readable, and original yoke with chromed side thumbnuts. Inside, the original factory ribbon motor and transformer, working with good tone, but you'll need to crank it up more than usual. (Check out the audio sample on the listing video.) The on-off switch has been bypassed so the mic is live all the time. This is a low-impedance microphone with bi-directional pickup. A good pre-amp (CloudLifter, FetHead, etc) is always recommended for older ribbon microphones, NOTE: NEVER use phantom power directly to the mic as it can damage the ribbon.
