Vintage 1988 Asics Gel Saga Sz 10 Pirate black Ronnie Fieg Patta Lyte 3 Gt2

Description: Vintage 1988 Asics Gel Saga Sz 10 with og box + promo material Ive had these for a decade+ and was the person who wore them for the first time. I chased this colorway/condition for about 5 years before trading a pair of Atmos Safari AM1 for these to a collector in Switzerland circa 2013. I know “value” wise I may have lost but this was my most desired vintage Asics colorway so I was happy. Unfortunately they didn’t fit me like I hoped as I’m a 9-9.5 and they didn’t fit small like some vtg shoes, they are true to size 10. So I want to get them In the hands of someone that will wear them more often than I do. These soles are not PU and are 100% wearable. I wear them a few times per year for short periods too for good measure. They did a halfway retro of this colorway 7-8 years ago that were dubbed “pirate black” but the shape was terrible and the materials didn’t even come close to comparing either. Two things of note with the condition… 1) I don’t believe the laces are og. I’m very particular with laces and would’ve pulled the black laces in use from another Asics pair from a similar generation. 2) The tongue has been repainted by a professional customizer. It had gotten black on it from being stored incorrectly in the box. I paid $75 to have the tongues repainted and shoes shipped back to me. I will ship double boxed via usps priority mail.
