Description: Excellent sounding and stunning looking pair of Akai SW-155 speakers. Purchased from a woman whose father was an audiophile and collector and had recently passed away. These need to go to someone who will appreciate them and has the space to display them properly. Everything working 100%! - I detail cleaned and touched up the cabinets, including the name badges (Not refinished or patched). See pictures. - I treated the Mid and High level control pots with Deoxit, working them thoroughly.- I added rubber foam insulation around the front and rear panel near the woofer and additional cotton rag insulation inside the speaker.- All 6 caps were replaced Using MPT film caps. One original was leaking. All original parts will be sent.- Cloth woofer surrounds were treated with Vintage AR sealant. One surround was slightly irregular, but it does not seem to affect the sound at all.- Original speaker input jacks were replaced with gold plated 5-way binding posts. Overall condition is very good, but they have some blemishes from their 50+ year life. No major dents, but one ding near the front corner of one of the speakers as shown in pictures.
