Description: MADE IN THE USA EAGLE desk, reading lamp or task light. Adjustable neck allows the lamp to be positioned in a number of ways. The style is called "gooseneck" because of it's flexibility. The base is molded cast steel. The shade is pressed steel. The neck shaft is made from flexible metal cable used in wiring. The base has Eagle manufacturer name embossed on bottom. The base measures 5" x 6.75". When extended fully the lamp is 20" high. The usual height is approx. 15". The shade is 7" in diameter. Appears to have had light socket replaced. There is some wear showing on the lamp & shade. But, oh, if this bit of history could talk, the stories it could tell! Fabulous patina that can only come about from a true vintage piece. Tested, works as it should. Cast iron base can also be wall mounted. When the gooseneck is straightened out to be vertical, the top edge of the shade is 21" from the bottom of the base.
