Description: Vintage Czech Dragons Breath Opal Glass Necklace 16" Gold Tone This is a vintage Czech Dragon's Breath Opal Glass necklace that measures 16" and features 6 oval shaped gems with multicolor flash. The stones measure 9x7mm each and are prong set in the design. I don't see a maker's mark. The metal is gold tone and style is Art Nouveau or Victorian. The center element measures 1 3/4" long x 7/8" wide. The necklace is finished with a spring ring closure. This is a vintage pre-owned necklace in good order with no missing or damaged gems. Dragon's Breath Opal is a vintage Czech made art glass that gets its opal like effect from fine metalic dust formed inside the glass. Very beautiful effect and each gem has it's own unique look like a real opal. It much resembles Mexican Fire Opal. My photo are of the actual item you are getting.
