This lovely textile is a vintage French daybed mattress slipcover! ~This textile dates from the late 1940s to the mid 1950s ~ ~ This would have slipped right on top of the daybed mattress for a lovely look ~ The ground is red and the other colors are green and gold ~ this fabric would also be wonderful repurposed!! Its a light weight cotton ~ There is piping / cording used too ~ a lovely textile ideal for use or repurposing! ~*~ MEASUREMENTS : The main panel ( the square that lays on top of the bed ) of this lovely bedcover measures approximately 31inches wide by 78 inches long; The panel that runs down the side of the mattress is 12inches deep ~ SO much great fabric!!~ CONDITION: This gorgeous cover is in as found, not freshly laundered condition for collectors but could easily be hand washed and hung to dry! There is light fading and a small L shaped tear and a couple of small holes ( very small ) its generally in lovely condition but not without signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful textiles! ~*~ Inventory : A 1006
