Description: Vintage Murano faceted blue and amber sommerso art glass block vase. This beautiful vase was made with the submerged glass technique. The "submerged" is a form of art which has layers of contrasting colors, generally two. The overlap of transparent vitreans allows to obtain particular chromatic effects, as in this case with a splendid cobalt blue. The vase measures~ 8.5" tall x 2.25" x 2.25" . In gorgeous condition. I did note a tiny fleabite nick along one ridge and a few very light surface scratches to the underside from being displayed. Please see last picture.
