Description: Vintage Quart Pyro Graphics Milk Bottle Dairy Name: Dairy unknown. I thought maybe it could be Model Dairy based on the word "model" in the graphics, but that might be a stretch.Dairy Location: Unknown, but likely Pennsylvania based on bottle bottom graphics and the fact that most of the milk bottles I've collected are from western Pennsylvania.Dairy Slogan(s) and Other Bottle Lettering: In pyro on one side with classy woman graphic:"BE A""MODEL""MOTHER...""SERVE""NON-FATTENING""COTTAGE CHEESE"In pyro on the other side, with dancing or energetically posing woman graphic: "SLIM""&""TRIM""WITH""FORTIFIED SKIM"and embossed around bottle base:"MH 39 REG." "SEALED ONU" "ONE QUART" "LIQUID 2"and on the bottle bottom in a circular pattern around the edges:"ALLEGHENY BOTTLE COUNCIL INC."and in center of bottle bottom:"17 61""PGH. PA."and embossed all the way around the base of the bottle neck are 8 stars. (That star pattern seems to be an Allegheny Bottle Council identifier.)Capacity: One Quart. Height: Stands almost 9 inches high. Graphics: Pyro graphics appear on two sides of bottle. Other lettering is molded in the glass at bottom and a star pattern is embossed around the neck of the bottle.Graphics Condition: The pyro graphics are entirely readable and look great with a little wear.Glass Condition: Cleaned and good looking. No chips, cracks or other significant flaws were observed. Of course there is some light wear and instances of tiny marks and imperfections. I noticed a tiny flea bite on the bottle rim. The glass is not very scuffed overall, although there are a few small scuffed areas near the bottom that probably correspond to carrier rub wear. There are some stains inside the bottle bottom that my hot soapy bottle brush cleaning failed to remove.Additional Comments: Use your zoom-in powers to get an up-close look at bottle condition! The white pellets you see inside the bottle in the photos are included with the bottle. Shipping Notes: I'll pack this very carefully and tightly, with plenty of cushioning for safe shipping.
