Description: Vintage Resistol "Five Card Stud" model hat from the 1980's. This hat is marked 7 1/4 size and has a 3 1/4" wide rolled brim. The telescope-style crown is 4" tall from and back, the hat is fully lined and has a 1 5/8" wide leather sweat band. The original factory inventory tag is still on the underside of the sweat band. The hat is decorated with a 1"wide 3-color braided fabric hat band that is very sharp and unique. I've not see another band like this from Resistol. The satin lining is two-tone taupe tan with cream center and the early Resistol shield logo. Later models of this hat were labeled "the Gambler" and had the "Resistol Western" logo. There are no "X"s o the sweat but the condition and feel is very high quality. Please note that the small bug bite on the underside of the brim is approximately 1/16th" in diameter and depth.
