Description: This listing is for a Vintage orange & black Shuffords Cotton & Synthetic Cordage Advertising Sign. It comes from the estate of Ron Heist, known best for being “The Moleman” on American Pickers. It is in good vintage condition. I believe this sign likely originally came off of a store display or similar advertising piece. It would be great for display on a wall, shelf, etc. A perfect collectors item, decor / display piece, or gift for that special American Pickers or Moleman Fan! This is a great chance to own a piece of Picking Folklore! The sign is a single-sided solid metal piece. It has no holes, rust issues, large dings dents or bends etc. There is some mild wear to the paint- see photos, but nothing that makes it illegible. It has no fading, and is still a vibrant orange & a dark black for the lettering. It has great fonts, and a nice Shufords logo as well. I have not seen a sign like this one before, it would make a great addition to any collection. Toiling away in his backyard in Butler, PA (outside of Pittsburgh), Ron Heist was a 66-year-old man who built his first structure at age 16 and kept going, creating an elaborate multi-room network above and below ground without mortar and nails. He created a truly impressive structure before his unfortunate passing earlier this year. Comes as-is, as shown, please see photos for details & measurements. (No COA or signatures included. )
