It is in very good condition with no major scratches, no dents or dings, no signs of repair, although I believe it was sized. The stone is bezel set and has only very light scratches and very minor abrasion on the facet edges. There are no chips or cracks.The mounting is well made and measures 2mm wide at the back. The top of the ring measures 3/4" x 1/2". It is a size 4. The amethyst measures approx 4.2 ctw - hard to tell with the bezel. The ring is marked with a hallmark I do not recognize and 585.Total weight is 3.5 dwt or 5.4 grams. More than one view is provided to best show design, construction and condition.
