Description: VINTAGE WEDGWOOD BLUE JASPERWARE CAMPAGNA LIDDED URN EXCELLENT CONDITION c1969 Click images to enlarge Description A Wedgwood jasperware campagna twin handled urn in the pale blue colorway with white bas-relief sprigging. This is the large version of the urn which is 12" tall; the top rim is 6 1/2" in diameter and the base is 4 3/8" square. The urn weighs 5lbs 2 oz. The four figures around the circumference are taken from a medallion/plaque entitled 'The sacrifice to Flora' designed by Lady Elizabeth Templetown for Josiah Wedgwood in c1787. The base and urn/vase are separate parts, the two being bolted together. The urn is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or stains. Impressed 'Wedgwood Made in England' on the base.
