Description: This vintage doll from the Works Projects Administration is a beautiful addition to any collection. The Spanish doll from Grenada features painted black hair and blue eyes, with a medium complexion. Measuring 16.5 inches, she comes with removable clothes and articulated limbs. The doll is made of paper mch and comes in its original box from the New Jersey WPA. A must-have for collectors of dolls and Works Projects Administration memorabilia. In excellent condition except for some splitting of the silk fabric of her costume. Her original box has the library card with check out information. The doll was not accessioned and lent out until the 1970s, but I believe she was made in the 1940s Works Projects Administration period. From a non-smoking cat friendly home.
