Description: Exquisite lacquered 3 layer large Bento Box made in Japan. Yamanaka label on bottom. Top lifts off to reveal a divided layer holding 5 red and black lacquered rectangular trays or plates measuring 6" x 4 1/4". Layers 2 and 3 are open trays measuring 10 1/2" x 8 1/4" x 1 1/2" (bottom layer is 1 7/8" with curvature to the sides). Gorgeous traditional cherry blossom, camellia flowers and cane pattern on top and sides. Measures 6"H x 10 1/2"L x 8"W. A few minor areas with paint loss (see photos).
