I hand polished to a 3000 grit on one side so you can see the vivid colors of mineralization. I left it rough on the other side so you can see the host materials' natural appearance. This limb cast comes from Yellow Cat, Utah. It is a beautiful specimen that features a stunning glass like polish. It has vivid orange, yellow, a maroon spot, and red mineralization. You can even see where the minerals swirled around the outside of the cast. Wisps of color are seen at various depths in this specimen. Pictures do not do it justice.
