Vtg Washburn Mercury MG74 Transparent Sunburst Floyd Rose " Stratocaster Style "

Description: Vintage 1992-1994 Era Washburn Mercury Series MG74 Transparent Sunburst. Floyd Rose I am older and retired and have been liquidating my guitar collection & equipment, and this is my 3rd electric guitar I am offering up for sale. The first two I sold, my buyer's were very happy, as I really try hard to fully disclose & describe anything & everything I see. I take very good care of all of my instruments and as you can see this one have is no different. I am the second owner and I have owned this Washburn MG74 for going on 24 yrs. and it truly looks like the day I bought it and it is all original with no modifications ever. Specifications : Controls - 5-way selector switch, 1- tone control & 1- volume control : Electronics - Pickup configuration 1- middle single coil & 2 - neck & bridge humbuckers : General - Sunburst finish transparent pickguard : Body - Alder, Shape - double cutaway, Body Top - flamed Maple : Hardware - Double locking Floyd Rose tremolo system with beautiful gold hardware galore including the tuners : Neck - Bolt on neck, maple neck - 24 frets - 6 in a row tuners : Fretboard - Maple fingerboard, Offset dot position markers Condition - It is going between 31 to 33 yrs. old depending on the actual unknown year and it is a blast to play, as I love the lower thinner neck action and it really stays in tune well. Please look closely at all of the pictures as I have very little to report about the condition because it is that nice. The headstock has no chips or dents period, and the neck has beautiful wood characteristics like none other. It does have some fret wear but no issues & there is no fret buzz ect. The frets also have never been dressed either as it plays & sounds like a new one. The back of the neck has no checking & up high just below the headstock if you zoom in you will see a small wood knot line, as you can slightly feel it, but this is just natural to the wood and is not a crack just some cool wood character. There is only one very very tiny chip on the right top side of the double cut (see pic) ot is so tiny that its the size of the tapered pointy end of the toothpick I am using to point this out. It was this was when I bought it, and a fine tip marker would make it disappear if you wish, I am personally all about leaving my instruments all original unless it is something I just can't live with. The body does have some normal very fine scratches, but nothing deep or through the clear or anything you can really notice in general as it really looks beautiful as is.
