Description: Modern Design era. Wooden checkers by Hal-Sam with original box and an ad insert. The insert is in excellent condition. The checkers are in excellent condition. Original box is in excellent condition for it's age. The bottom is pristine. **See all photos.** **The lid has very little storage wear. Some can be cleaned to brighten. I leave that to buyer. The lid is pristine inside. **See all photos.** The black checkers are the same shade of black and in excellent condition. **See all photos.** **The red ones are various shades of red to practically a pink color. They are in excellent condition also. **The actual red ones, I believe, belong to this set. The pinker ones, if not original, are surely from a close manufacturing date from other sets I see on ebay. **I not an expert in dating manufacture. **I believe this set, including the replacement pieces, was manufactured in or around 1934 to the early 40's. **I guessed this by the logos Halsam used at the time being the same as the one on Disney blocks and American Bricks. **I could be wrong and they could be as late as the 1950's. I did find this set within another game dated 1957. Great for Modern Design or MCM decor. Shipping USPS Ground Advantage. I combine shipping.
