Description: WW1 or possibly WW2 German trench knife Nahkampfmesser This kind of knfor was used in close quarters combat and in trench warfare, as well as a an all purpose knife Approx dimensions:9 1/2" total length5 1/8" blade4 3/8" handle from bottom to top of crossguard This piece is missing scales. Handle shows wear and corrosion. Black coating has been applied to cross guard and all the way around the edge of the tang. Tang is covered in oxidation.
