Let's look at this piece part by part, because you need to know what all is in here: A black and exceptionally beautiful in robust tones, 8.32 carat Black Australian Opal doublet or could be a boulder opal, we are not 100% sure as it does have natural ironstone on the reverse and is a larger and thicker gemstone. The opal by itself measures in at 1.1/8 " long by 9mm wide and 3.5mm thick. The opal is DIVINE, classified black and with deep and rich magical movement with fire and flash in blue, purple, red, teal green and gold fire. There are no flaws whatsoever. The frame is a twisted vine design accented with a total of 7 light blue London Topaz and Peridot gemstones that are meticulously placed on the vine itself. Their facets allow the piece to wink and sparkle in addition to opals fire flashing. In all the piece is 2.1/8" long by 1.5" wide with a weight of 10.3 grams. JUST THE OPAL is worth between $400.00 and $1,000 so you know this is a terrific price for the entire designed, magical and perhaps haunting piece.
