Description: Vintage Sterling Silver and Natural Turquoise Zuni Native American Southwestern Ring. Floral type design. This is sterling but is not stamped. Many of these types of rings that aren’t stamped were made prior to 1936. This is a beautiful ring. It is small but could be resized as it is sterling silver. It is about size 5.5-5.75. It falls on the 6 (see pictures) about mid band but the way it’s made makes it wider and when you look on the front it’s a little above the 6 so I’m saying 5.5-5.75. The turquoise is a beautiful more valued color. Excellent condition especially for its age. Color The most valuable hue of turquoise is a very pure blue, likened to the color of a robin’s egg. Any turquoise that has more of a green tint overall is automatically lowered on the rungs of value. However, some modern jewelers find this tone unique and seek it out. In a similar fashion to a yellow piece, inherently, the price decreases.
